[남상훈 기자 = 양양군] 23일 양양군은 국가철도공단 인재개발원 신축공사현장에서 유관기관과 재난대응 협력 체계 강화를 위한 ‘2022 재난대응 안전한국훈련’을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 훈련은 양양군과 국가철도공단이 주관하며 국가철도공단 인재개발원 신축공사현장 내 폭발사고에 따른 화재, 붕괴, 산불의 복합재난으로 인명피해와 시설피해가 큰 재난상황을 가정했다.

양양군은 앞서 유관기관과의 수 차례에 걸친 회의를 통해 긴밀한 협력체계를 구축했으며 이번 훈련에 육군108통신단, 양양소방서, 속초경찰서, 양양국유림관리소, 양양군 의용소방대 등 14개 기관·단체 250여명이 참가하고, 장비 45대가 도입됐다.

최근 재난·위기상황에 대한 공공기관의 위기관리 능력이 부각되는 가운데 군은 재난대응 매뉴얼 이행과 임무 수행에 중점을 두고 실제 상황을 방불케하는 훈련을 진행했다. 주요 조치사항으로 상황 접수·전파, 초기대응 및 비상대응, 수습복구에 따른 상황판단회의, 재난대책본부 운영 등이 진행됐다.

군은 이번 안전한국훈련이 유관기관별 재난대응 체계를 점검하고, 기관 간의 협력과 재난 대처능력을 강화할 수 있었던 좋은 기회가 됐다고 평가했으며 군 관계자는 “앞으로도 유관기관과의 긴밀한 공조로 재난대응 역량을 강화하여, 국민의 생명과 재산을 지킬 수 있도록 만전을 기하겠다”고 말했다.
