[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 산림청 한국산림복지진흥원 소속기관인 국립횡성숲체원은 화재 등 재난예방관리 우수사업장에 부여하는 ‘위험성평가 우수사업장 인정’을 취득했다고 밝혔다.

‘위험성평가 우수사업장 인정’은 사업장에서 실시한 위험성평가를 인정기준 및 인정절차에 따라 한국산업안전보건공단이 객관적으로 심사하는 기업 자율안전 평가제도이라고 했다.

횡성숲체원은 위험성평가 시 도출 된 38건의 유해·위험요인에 대해 개선하고 안전보건공단에 위험성평가 인정신청을 하여 '사업주의 관심도', '위험성평가 실행 수준', '구성원의 참여 및 이해수준', '재해발생 수준' 등 4개 분야, 총 19개 항목에 대해 심사받아 인정을 취득했으며, 횡성숲체원은 위험성평가 우수사업장 인정과 더불어 안전보건경영시스템(KOSHA-MS) 인증을 통해 안전한 산림복지시설 제공에 앞장서고 있다고 전했다.

국립횡성숲체원 홍성현 원장은 “안전사고 예방의 첫걸음은 사고위험을 사전에 차단하는 것”이라면서, “숲체원을 이용하는 국민과 근로자의 생명과 안전을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
