[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 29일 홍천군은 SQ엔지니어링(SQ무인항공교육원)과 건강놀이터 홍천 드론 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

협약식에는 홍천군 허필홍 군수를 비롯해 이래철 SQ엔지니어링 대표이사 등이 참석했으며, 협약에 따라 양 기관은 드론과 관련한 정보 및 기술 공유, 초경량비행장치(드론) 조종사 자격증 취득 및 운용 교육 협력, 공모사업 및 지원 사업 공동 참여, 산불 및 재난·재해시 공동 대응에 협력하게 된다고 했다.

또 드론을 활용한 항공영상 구축과 분석을 통한 신속·정확한 의사결정 지원체계 활성화, 공간 빅데이터와 드론 영상정보 연계 활용으로 정확한 현상 진단 및 예측, 대기오염관리, 수색·탐색, 불법행위 추적·감시, 산림자원 감시, 지적조사를 실시해 드론 활용의 극대화 및 공신력 향상에 큰 도움이 예상된다고 전했다.

허필홍 홍천군수는 “홍천군은 4차 산업혁명의 핵심인 드론에 대한 높은 관심을 갖고 있다”며 “이번 업무협약을 통해 건강놀이터 홍천 드론 활성화에 한 걸음 더 가까이 다가갈 수 있을 것으로 기대된다”고 말했다.
