[남상훈 기자 = 홍천군] 지난 23일 홍천군은 홍천군 청년창업지원센터에서 설문조사를 통한 청년들의 창업실태를 수렴하고 창업지원에 관해 자유토론을 펼치는 등 청년창업 활성화 방안 포럼을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 포럼에서 홍천청년 네트워크 ‘홍청망청’ 허은희 대표는 청년 65명을 대상으로 홍천 청년창업 실태에 대해 실시한 설문조사 결과를 토대로 청년창업 활성화 방안에 대해 발표했고 이선호 청년창업지원센터장의 진행으로 최덕현 일자리경제과장, 최소영 도시재생지원센터장, 허일영 홍천메디컬허브연구소 실장의 자유토론이 이어졌다.

한편, 홍천군은 지난 2019년 홍천군 청년창업지원센터를 개소, 전문적인 창업 교육, 전문가 멘토링 및 컨설팅 등 각종 프로그램을 제공하고 있다. 또한 매년 10명의 청년창업가를 선정해 시설개선비(1회)와 매월 50만원씩 임대료를 2년간 지원해오고 있다.

최덕현 일자리경제과장는 “창업을 희망하는 청년들에게 만남과 소통의 장을 지속적으로 마련하여 창업인 간 연대감을 형성하고, 상호협력을 통한 시너지 효과를 창출할 예정”이라며, “청년들의 창업을 지원하고 일자리를 창출하는 정책을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
