[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 9일 김동근 의정부시장은 가능동 신촌로75번길 76 침수 주택을 방문했으며 집중호우로 인해 수해를 입은 시민들의 조속한 일상 복귀를 위해 수해복구 조치에 총력을 기울이고 있다.

가능동 주민센터는 지난 10일 통장협의회 등과 함께 침수된 주택의 가구, 집기류 등 각종 쓰레기를 집 밖으로 반출하는 작업을 실시했으며 침수된 가구별로 청소 등 피해복구 지원이 필요한 부분을 즉시 조사했고  향후 침수된 주택의 옷가지와 이불 세탁 등 지원이 필요한 가구에 대해서 새마을부녀회 등 자생단체 회원들이 봉사를 실시할 수 있도록 조치할 예정이다.

김동근 시장은 “집중호우로 시민들이 불편을 겪지 않도록 대응에 만전을 기하고, 침수 주택 가구의 조속한 피해복구를 위해 자원봉사단체, 자생단체가 청소, 빨래 등을 지원할 수 있도록 하라”고 지시했다.
