[남상훈 기자 = 가평] 가평소방서는 성탄절 및 연말연시를 앞두고 화재예방을 위해  화목보일러 및 겨울철 3대 전기제품 안전 사용 수칙을 숙지를 당부한다고 밝혔다. 

겨울은 계절적 특성으로 화기취급이 많고 실내생활이 크게 증가함에따라 화재로 인한 인명피해가 사계절중 가장 크다. 이에 화목보일러, 겨울철 3대 전기제품 등의 안전 사용 수칙을 숙지하는 것은 매우 중요하다.

겨울철 전기제품 주의사항은 -난방 기구 전선, 열선 손상 및 파손 확인, -전기장판 사용시 이불 등을 겹겹이 덮지 않기, -난방 기구 주위에 빨래 건조 및 인화물질 적치 금지 등이 있다.

화목보일러 안전 사용 수칙은 -보일러와 2m 이상 떨어진 장소에 가연물 보관, -인근에 소화기 비치, -지정된 연료만 사용, -주기적인 연통 청소, -한번에 많은 연료를 넣지 않기 등이 있다.
