[남상훈 기자 = 원주] 지난 17일 임하수 북부지방산림청장이 경기도 고양시 북한산국립공원에 위치한 2022년 집중호우 산림피해 복구사업지에 대한 현장 점검을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 현장점검을 통해 현장 근로자의 안전·보건관리 및 사업 추진 현황을 점검하여 안전사고를 예방하고, 현장 여건에 맞는 사업 공종 및 품질 향상을 통해 견실하고 안전한 산림토목사업이 되도록 철저를 당부했다.

북부지방산림청은 올해 2022년 집중호우로 인한 산림피해지(산사태 102.44ha, 임도 7.78km 등)에 대한 수해복구사업 및 2023년 사방사업(사방댐 19개소, 계류보전 13km, 산지사방 10ha 등)을 추진하고 있으며, 2차 피해 및 산림재해 예방을 위해 6월 말까지 준공을 목표로 하고 있다.

임하수 북부지방산림청장은 “2023년도 산림토목사업장에 대해 안전보건 관련 법령 준수 여부, 안전교육 실시, 안전장구 착용 여부 등 지속적인 안전관리 및 품질 향상을 위한 현장 점검을 통해 안전사고 최소화 및 양질의 산림사업이 될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
