나는 50:50을 넘어서 이번 선거의 엄중함을 고려하여 대선 패배 이후 입당 러쉬를 이루고 있는 20만명에 가까운 신규당원들에게도 투표권을 부여하자는 제안을 한 바 있다. 물론 새물결의 신규당원들에게도 문호를 열어야 한다. 당원참여 확대, 여기에 나 안민석과 김동연이 함께 힘을 싣자고 제안한다. 

한마디 덧붙인다. 김 후보가 모 방송 인터뷰에서 나에게 ‘말을 안 가려서 하시는 분’이라고 했던데, 이런 표현은 국정농단 세력이 나를 공격할 때 주로 사용했던 언어들이다. 

국정농단 세력에 맞서 안민석이 그런 공격 받으면서도 온몸을 던지며 싸울 때, 김후보는 그 자리에 계시지 않으셔서 그런지 모르겠는데, 기왕에 촛불혁명을 계승하는 민주당과 함께 하기로 한 만큼, 앞으로는 그런 표현 자제하시기 당부드린다.
