기자: 26일 오전 경기도와 가평군은 가평 자라섬에서 관광산업 활성화와 지역 현안에 대한 방안을 모색하기 위해 ‘맞손토크’를 개최했습니다.

 

행사에는 김동연 경기도지사, 서태원 가평군수, 임광현 도의원, 김종성 의원을 비롯한 군의원들, 관광 산업종사자 및 지역주민 등 180여명이 참석해 활발한 의견을 나눴습니다.

 

토크는 1부, 2부로 나눠서 진행됐으며, 1부에서는 관광산업을 주제로 관내 관광지·야영장·펜션 대표들이 나와 여러 가지 현안들을 건의했습니다.

 

또한, 도내 노인학교, 교육청 등 다양한 단체의 유치 필요성을 제기하는 등 가평 현실의 문제점 해결을 위한 토론도 진행했습니다.

 

이어 2부에서는 지역현안을 주제로 가평문화예술회관 건축 및 리모델링, 북한강 천년뱃길 조성 등 다양한 주민숙원 사업에 대해 도 차원의 지원을 요청했습니다.

 

모든 질의가 끝난 후 김동연 지사는 대표들과 지역주민이 건의한 내용에 대해 적극적으로 검토하고 경기도의 지원이 가능한 사안에 대해서는 적극적으로 지원하겠다고 약속했습니다.
