[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강원도는 지난 8일부터 17일까지 이어진 집중호우로 큰 피해를 본 홍천·횡성 등 9개 시·군에 응급복구비 8억원을 지원한다고 밝혔다. 

응급복구비 8억원은 지난 12일 행정안전부에서 긴급 지원한 1차 3억 원과 19일 추가로 지원한 5억 원이다.

이번 지원은, 강원지역에 주로 발생한 도로·하천 유실, 산사태 피해 등에 대한 응급복구와 이재민 구호 등 지자체의 재난 수습 비용을 지원하기 위한 것이다.        

지원규모는 시군별로 피해 및 응급복구 건수와 시설별 피해금액 규모, 이재민 수, 장비동원 현황을 종합적으로 고려해 결정했다. 

지역별로는 이번 호우로 강원도에서 가장 피해가 심한 횡성군 약3억여 원, 홍천군 1억5천여만 원 등 시군별 피해금액(소액피해 시군 제외)등에 비례하여 응급복구비가 지원된다. 

박동주 재난안전실장은“이번 호우로 피해를 입은 주민과 이재민이 일상생활로 조속히 복귀할 수 있도록 시군의 신속한 복구와 이재민 지원을 독려하고 있으며, 추석 명절 전에 응급복구와 이재민 구호 등에 차질이 없도록 도에서 적극 지원 할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
