[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 10월 26일 홍천군은 홍천중학교 정문에서 홍천교육지원청, 홍천경찰서, 홍천군청소년상담복지센터의 18명이 참여한 가운데 연합으로 학교폭력예방 캠페인 및 청소년유해환경을 점검했다고 밝혔다.

하교하는 학생들을 대상으로 건전한 교우관계 형성과 학교폭력 없는 행복한 학교를 만들기 위해서 모두가 함께 노력하자는 내용이 담긴 피켓과 홍보물품 등을 활용해 캠페인을 펼쳤으며 캠페인 후 학교 주변의 청소년 출입이 잦은 일반음식점과 편의점 등을 대상으로 담배·주류 판매 금지 등을 당부하는 청소년유해환경 점검도 함께 이루어 졌다.

한편, 이번 캠페인은 홍천중학교 학생들도 함께 참여해 학우들이 캠페인에 동참할 수 있도록 독려했다. 

전영길 교육과장은 “청소년들이 건강하게 자라날 수 있도록 지속적인 캠페인을 전개할 예정”이며 “하굣길에 친구들과 함께 이벤트 참여를 하면서 잠시나마 즐거움을 느끼고 교우 간의 사이가 조금 더 가까워졌기를 바란다”고 말했다.
