[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 3월 30일 9시부터 1시간 동안, 북면행정복지센터 직원들은 북면새마을지도자, 새마을부녀회, 이장협의회, 주민자치회, 의용소방대, 산불감시원과 함께 새봄맞이 대청소를 실시하였다고 밝혔다.

청소구간은 목동시가지 일대, 목동터미널 주변의 골목길, 도로변 등으로 무단 투기된 쓰레기, 담배꽁초, 낙엽, 불법현수막 등을 치우면서 깨끗하고 쾌적한 환경 조성과 밝고 활기찬 사회 분위기를 조성하였고, 이번 봄맞이 대청소는 북면 각 주민단체들의 자발적인 참여로 이뤄진 행사로서 매년 정기적으로 개최하고 있으며 깨끗한 환경조성에 기여하고 있다고 전했다.  

남경호 북면장은  “싱그러운 봄을 맞이하여 주민여러분들께서도 한마음이 되어 내집 앞 청소에 참여하여 깨끗하고 쾌적한 북면을 만드는데 동참해 주시 것에 감사드린다” 고 격려하였다고 했다.
