[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 설악면 새마을부녀회는 지난 26일 중복을 맞아 설악면행정복지센터에서 독거어르신 삼계탕 나눔 행사를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이날 새마을 부녀회 회원들 모두가 마스크와 위생장갑을 착용하는 등 방역수칙을 철저히 준수하며, 손수 정성스럽게 조리한 삼계탕과 절편 등을 도시락으로 개별 포장해 관내 독거어르신 120여 가구를 직접 방문해 전달하며 안부를 확인했다.

박지숙 회장은 “코로나19가 다시 재 확산되는 추세라 어르신들의 건강이 걱정되어 경로당에서 음식을 대접해 드리지 못하고 개별적으로 도시락을 배부하게 되어 아쉬운 마음이다. 더운 날씨에 뜨거운 불 앞에서도 웃으며 같이 봉사해주신 새마을부녀회원들께도 감사드린다”라고 말했다.
