[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 10월 15일 의정부시 신곡1동은 주민자치센터 다목적실에서 임원선거를 통해 주민자치회를 이끌어갈 임원진을 선출했다고 밝혔다.

공정하고 투명한 임원진 선출을 위해 무기명 투표를 실시했으며, 선거 결과 회장 유문수, 부회장 추철호, 감사 신재호 위원이 당선됐다고 했다.

이날 선거는 코로나19 감염 예방을 위해 회의장 방역과 출입자 손 소독 및 체온 체크는 물론 비말 차단 칸막이까지 설치하여 철저히 방역 수칙을 준수한 가운데 진행되었고, 임원 선출이 완료됨에 따라 주민자치회 운영을 위한 기반을 갖춘 신곡1동 주민자치회는 운영세칙 제정, 운영계획 수립, 분과 구성 등 주민자치회 활성화를 위해 열심히 달릴 계획이라고 전했다.

유문수 주민자치회장은 “1기 주민자치회이니만큼 진정한 주민자치 실현의 초석을 다질 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
