[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평소방서는 30일 의용소방대원의 사기진작, 자긍심 고취, 의용소방대 활성화를 위 국내 선진지(충북 단양군 및 제천시) 시찰을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이번 선진지 시찰은 경기도의회 임광현 도의원, 현장대응단장 등 소방공무원 4명, 의용소방대원 88명이 참석하여 사기진작을 위한 시간을 보냈다.

주요 선진지 시찰 내용은 명승지 방문(도담삼봉, 석문, 의림지 등), 문화탐방 및 체험을 통한 대원 사기진작, 각 대간 친목도모 및 의용소방대 발전 방향 논의, 제천소방서 금성전담의용소방대 방문 등이다.

최진만 가평소방서장은 “가평은 시민수상구조대, 산악안전지킴이, 생활안전대 등 의용소방대원들의 활동 매우 많은 지역이다. 대원분들의 노고에 감사드린다"라며, “앞으로도 선진지 시찰 등 의용소방대원들의 사기를 올릴 수 있는 자리를 주기적으로 마련하여 가평의 안전을 위해 지속적으로 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.
