[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시 화현면은 지난 11일 ‘2022년 화현면 한마음 체육대회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

체육대회는 화현면체육회가 주최하고 화현면이장협의회 등 각 기관단체가 후원했으며, 관내 청소년, 외국인근로자 등을 포함한 화현면민 400여 명이 참가했다. 

이번 체육대회는 열정팀(화현1·2·6리), 혁신팀(화현3·4·5리), 화합팀(명덕1·2·3리), 소통팀(지현1·2·3·4리) 등 총 4개 팀으로 구성되어 족구와 피구, 애드벌룬 공굴리기, 신발 양궁, 노래자랑 등 화현면민 누구나 즐겁게 참가할 수 있는 운동경기와 마술, 사물놀이, 경기민요 등의 공연 프로그램을 구성해 진행하였으며, ‘혁신팀’이 종합우승을 하며 마무리 지었다.

특히 수도기계화 보병사단 군악대가 개회식에 참석해 연주하는 등 더욱 풍성한 볼거리를 제공했다. 

임천순 체육회장은 “5년만에 열리는 체육대회를 성공적으로 개최할 수 있도록 이번 자리를 빛내주신 화현면민에게 감사드린다. 이번 체육대회를 기점으로 화현면의 문화체육활동 역량을 끌어올릴 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”고 전했다.

황희석 화현면장은 “화현면체육회, 화현면기관단체장, 화현면사무소 직원 등 모두가 합심해 체육대회를 성공적으로 개최하게 되었다. 특히 이번 행사의 주인공인 화현면민의 적극적인 참여에 감사드리며, 앞으로도 화현면 체육발전에 이바지할 수 있도록 처우개선에 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
