[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 25일 포천시 내촌면 새마을부녀회는 ‘희망·행복 1% 나눔 행사’를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

‘희망·행복 1% 나눔 행사’에서는 내촌면 부녀회원들이 십시일반 모은 후원금으로 마련한 떡을 어려운 이웃과 나눴다고 했다.

조순호 부녀회장은 “코로나19로 모두가 어려운 상황에 소외된 이웃들이 움츠러들지 않고 모두가 따뜻한 명절을 보내길 바라는 마음으로 떡나눔 행사를 진행하게 되었다.”며 “후원에 동참해준 내촌면 부녀회원들에게도 감사하고, 앞으로도 지속적인 나눔활동을 통해 함께하는 사회 조성에 기여하도록 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.

강성모 내촌면장은 “추운날씨에도 불구하고 아침일찍부터 봉사활동을 해주신 새마을부녀회에 진심으로 감사드린다.”며 “앞으로도 지역의 이웃사랑을 실천하는 내촌면을 만들어가는데 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 전했다.

한편 내촌면새마을부녀회는 명절마다 홀몸어르신, 수급자 등을 위한 만두빚기, 송편나누기, 김장행사 등 다양한 봉사활동을 하고 있다고 밝혔다.
