그리고 군의회 의원님 여러분!

 

금일 최정용 의원께서 기자회견을 통해 밝히신 사항과 이에 따른 군의회 입장문에 대한 저의 입장을 아래와 같이 밝힙니다.

 

우선 군민여러분의 헌신적인 협조와 노력으로 2019년부터 시작된 코로나19 사태와 폭우로 인한 수해피해 등 수많은 어려움을 슬기롭게 극복한 것에 대해 감사의 말씀을 드립니다.

 

또한 2018년 지방선거 이후 군정 파트너로 지역발전을 위해 함께 고민하고 협력해 주신 군의회 의원님께 깊은 감사와 경의를 표합니다.

 

지역현안을 위한 군의원과의 소통의 자리에서 군의원의 부적절한 언행에 감정을 추스르지 못해 불미스러운 일이 발생했습니다.

 

이유를 불문하고 군민들에게 염려를 끼쳐드린 것에 대해 송구스럽게 생각합니다.

 

특히, 저로 인해 그동안 마음고생을 하신 최정용 군의원께도 진심으로 위로의 말씀을 드립니다.

 

이번 일을 계기로 군민들의 대표라는 자리를 더욱 무겁게 인식하고 향후 군의회를 더욱 존중하고 매사에 경각심을 가지도록 노력 하겠습니다.
