[김학영 기자=경기북부] 12일 양주시(시장 이성호)는 시청 영상회의실에서 ‘제8기 생활공감정책 참여단’ 출범식을 개최했다.

 생활공감정책은 정부시책이나 행정제도 등을 조금만 개선하면 시민 생활에 실질적인 도움을 줄 수 있는 정책으로 참여단은 일상생활 속 작지만 가치 있는 정책 개선사항을 발굴해 제안하고 정책현장에 참여하는 등 다양한 활동을 추진한다. 

 ‘제8기 생활공감정책 참여단’은 예원예술대학교 시각디자인학과 신동은 교수 를 비롯해 지난 1월 21일부터 2월 3일까지 행정안전부 ‘광화문1번가’ 홈페이지를 통해 공개모집을 신청한 학생 7명 등 총 8명으로 구성됐다.

 시는 관내 소재하는 대학생이 직접 정책에 참여할 수 있는 기회를 제공해  정책참여의 기반을 조성할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

 참여단은 올해 3월 1일부터 오는 2023년 2월 29일까지 2년간 ‘광화문 1번가 국민참여 플랫폼’ 혁신 제안 톡을 활용한 생활밀착형 정책 아이디어 발굴과 토론 등의 온라인 활동을 수행한다. 

 또한, 정책토론회, 시책사업 관련 캠페인과 봉사활동 참여아이디어 채택, 실시 제안의 직접 체감 등 각종 정책의 모니터링 활동을 진행하고 양주시의 불채택 제안을 바탕으로 재 발상을 위한 아이디어 회의 활동을 수행할 예정이다.
