[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 20일 동두천시 생연2동 행정복지센터의 지역사회보장협의체 위원들은 착한식당에서 후원받은 먹거리를 관내 저소득 취약계층에 직접 전달하며 안부를 확인했다고 밝혔다. 

이달 착한배송 물품은 도너츠, 과일, 떡, 고로케, 통닭, 계란 등 11종으로 정성이 담긴 사랑의 꾸러미가 한부모, 독거노인, 조손가정 등 50가구에 전달됐다고 했다. 

정승수 지역사회보장협의체 공동위원장은  “매달 후원을 통해 이웃 사랑을 실천해주시는 착한식당 사장님들께 감사의 인사를 전하며, 전달받은 물품은 어려운 이웃들에게 큰 힘이 될 것이다. 앞으로도 꾸준히 사랑이 이어질 수 있도록 함께 노력해서 더불어 사는 생연2동을 만들고 싶다”고 말했다.

착한배송은 나눔을 희망하는 식당과 저소득층 위기가정을 연계하여 공적지원 외에 민간의 서비스를 제공하는 제도로 복지 사각지대 발굴 및 복지 자원 연계를 위한 활동으로 추진되고 있다고 했다.
