[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 15일 동두천시 생연2동 행정복지센터의 지역사회보장협의체 위원들은 착한식당에서 후원받은 도너츠, 고로케, 과일, 치킨 등 10여종의 물품을 관내 저소득층에게 직접 전달하며 안부를 전하는 착한배송을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

착한배송은 나눔을 희망하는 착한식당으로부터 받은 민간자원을 생연2동지역사회보장협의체 위원들이 지역 내 저소득층에게 배달하면서 복지사각지대 및 복지자원 발굴을 위한 활동의 일환으로 추진되고 있다고 했다.

김일 생연2동장은 “추석을 맞아 우리 주변의 이웃들이 따뜻한 명절을 보낼 수 있도록 물품을 후원해주신 착한식당의 사장님들과 가가호호 방문하여 전달해주신 지역사회보장협의체 위원님들께 감사드린다”며  “취약계층의 이웃들이 소외되지 않고 즐거운 명절을 보낼 수 있도록 생연2동 행정복지센터에서도 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
