[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시에서 지원·관리하는 의정부시 어린이급식관리지원센터는 어린이급식소를 대상으로 안전한 급식 환경 조성을 위한 식중독 예방관리 사업을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

센터는 식중독 예방과 관련해 급식소에서 놓치기 쉬운 어·육류의 내부 중심온도 측정, 생채소 및 과일의 염소소독 여부 2가지를 중점적으로 교육하고 관련 사항을 일지에 기록하도록 지도하는 한편, 관련 교육자료도 정기적으로 제공할 예정이라고 했다.

해당 사업은 오는 2월 16일 안내를 시작으로 11월까지 진행되며, 우수관리시설에는 급식소에 필요한 위생물품도 지원한다고 전했다.

이상우 위생과장은 “올해도 모든 어린이가 건강하고 안전한 급식을 제공받도록 어린이급식소의 관리 및 지원을 강화해 안전한 급식 환경을 만들겠다”고 말했다.

한편 의정부시 어린이급식관리지원센터는 등록된 어린이급식소를 대상으로 위생·영양 순회 방문, 대상별 교육 등의 지원 업무를 하고 있으며, 자세한 사항은 어린이급식관리지원센터로 문의하면 된다고 밝혔다.
