[김준호 기자=영월군] 영월군과 서울시가 도농 상생 사업으로 조성한 영월 서울농장이 귀농귀촌 유치 및 홍보를 위해 농촌문화, 축제, 관광, 귀농·귀촌교육 및 치유농업 등 다양한 체험프로그램이 25일부터 본격 운영에 돌입했다.

영월 서울농장은 무릉도원면에 위치한 도-농 교류센터 내에 숙소8실, 관리동, 다목적 교육관, 주차장 및 부대시설, 둘레길 및 체험장 등 농촌체험 종합공간으로 조성되어 있으며, 이곳에서 농촌문화, 축제, 관광부터 귀농·귀촌 교육 및 치유농업에 이르기까지 다양한 체험프로그램을 제공한다.

 영월 서울농장은 지난해 시범적으로 운영하였으며, 총 8회 247명의 서울시민이 참가하여 참가자들로부터 큰 호응을 얻었다. 올해 3월 본격적으로 운영되는 프로그램 역시 신청수요가 많아 도시민들의 많은 인기를 얻고 있다.

금년에는 지난해 신청수요를 적극 반영하여 17회 500명 계획중이며, 관내 체험농장, 관광시설, 휴양마을 등과 연계하여 다채롭게 추진할 계획이다.
