[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 20일, 어린양예수님선교회는 관내 어려운 가정의 아이들을 위해 손수 만든 크리스마스 기프트박스 50개를 가평읍 행정복지센터에 기탁했다고 밝혔다. 

어린양예수님선교회는 명절, 동절기 등 시기마다 어려운 이웃들과 나누는 것을 아까워하지 않고 돕는 일에 앞장서는 뜻깊은 시간들을 함께 하고 있으며, 이날 기탁된 성품은 가평 지역아동센터, 한부모가정, 조손가정 등의 아이들에게 전달될 예정이라고 했다. 

선교회 회원(김옥자)은 “다가올 크리스마스, 산타의 선물을 기다리고 있는 아이들에게 정성으로 만든 기프트박스가 기쁨과 사랑을 가져다주길 바라며 훈훈한 연말연시 보내길 바라는 마음으로 준비했다.”라며 선물박스 하나하나에 마음이 전해지길 바란다는 기탁 소감을 밝혔다. 

민병국 부읍장은 “아이들에게 기억될 크리스마스를 선물해줘서 감사하며  모두 힘든 시기에 지친 이웃들에게 성탄절의 의미를 되새길 수 있는 즐거운 시간이 될 것이다. 소외된 이웃들을 돌아보는 여러분들에게 감사의 인사를 전한다. 흐뭇한 마음으로 아이들에게 소중히 전달하겠다.”는 뜻을 전했다.
