[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 지난 26일 동두천시 생연2동 지역사회보장협의체는 착한식당에서 지원된 후원물품을 저소득층에게 직접 전달하며, 안부를 확인하는 착한배송을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

5월 착한배송은 도너츠, 고로케, 과일, 치킨, 수제청 등 12종으로, 관내 저소득 취약계층, 한부모, 독거노인, 조손가정 등 50가구에 전달됐다고 말했다.

착한배송은 나눔을 희망하는 착한식당으로부터 받은 민간자원을 생연2동 지역사회보장협의체 위원들이 지역 내 저소득층에게 배달하면서, 복지사각지대 및 복지자원 발굴을 위한 활동의 일환으로 추진되고 있다고 했다.

생연2동 지역사회보장협의체는 “코로나19로 어려운 시기임에도 불구하고, 매달 후원을 통해 이웃사랑을 실천해주시는 착한식당 사장님들께 감사의 인사를 전하며, 전달받은 물품은 어려운 이웃들에게 큰 힘이 될 것이다”라며, “앞으로도 꾸준히 사랑이 이어질 수 있도록, 함께 노력해서 더불어 사는 생연2동을 만들고 싶다”고 밝혔다.
