[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 2월 8일 동두천시 생연1동은 착한식당 ‘추도령’에서 관내 독거노인을 위해 영양 가득 추어탕을 후원했다고 밝혔다. 

코로나19 확산 방지를 위해 비대면 배달 방식으로 진행된 이번 후원은 홀몸 어르신 7가구에 영양가 높은 추어탕을 대접해 어르신들의 면역력과 건강을 지키기 위해 마련됐다고 했다.

‘추도령’은 지난 2020년 8월부터 착한 식당으로 선정돼 매월 영양 섭취가 필요한 독거노인을 위하여 추어탕을 정성껏 만들어 지역사회를 위한 나눔 문화에 동참하고 있다고 전했다.

박정아 대표는 “사랑의 추어탕 나눔 봉사 활동을 통해 코로나19로 힘들고 지친 어르신들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되었으면 좋겠다”며 “추어탕을 정성껏 담아 준비했으니 맛있게 드시고 코로나19도 건강하게 이겨내시기를 바란다”고 말했다.

남상만 생연1동장은 “최근 코로나19로 나눔이 절실한 시기에 소외된 어르신들을 위해 영양식인 추어탕을 후원해 주신 추도령 사장님의 따뜻한 배려와 마음에 감사드린다”고 말했다.
