[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 15일 동두천시장애인자립생활지원센터에서는 추석을 앞두고 '제13회 한가위 장애인가족 한마당행사'를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 행사에서는 코로나19 4단계 거리두기 연장으로 고향에 가지 못하고 경제적으로 어려운 장애인가정에 풍성하고 행복한 명절을 보낼 수 있도록 따뜻한 정을 나눴고, 차례지내기 행사는 거리두기 4단계 방침에 따라 취소하고 비대면으로 진행하였으며, 장애인들이 직접 만든 음식이 담긴 명절음식키트'국, 떡, 전, 고기, 전통과자, 식혜 등'을 준비하여 약 200가정에 비대면으로 전달하였다고 했다. 

특히 이번 행사에는 이슬처럼봉사회 및 장애인 이용자들이 장애인 가정에서 고유의 명절과 정다운 가정의 정을 조금이나마 느끼면서 풍성한 한가위를 보낼 수 있도록 참여하였다고 했다.

이용수 센터장은 “코로나19로 인해 힘들게 하루하루를 보내는 장애인가정이‘더도 말고 덜도 말고 늘 한가위만 같아라’라는 우리 속담처럼, 명절만큼은 즐겁고 풍성하게 보냈으면 하는 마음으로 명절음식 나눔 행사를 진행하게 되었다”며, “모두가 힘든 이 시기에 도움을 줄 수 있어서 매우 뜻깊게 생각하며 위로가 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
