[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평소방서는 가평 얼음축제장 관계자를 대상으로 22일, 29일 두 차례에 걸쳐 심폐소생술과 응급처치, 화재예방교육 등을 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

교육에 참여한 관계자는 “이번 교육을 통해 행사장에서 있을지 모를 사고를 대비할 수 있게 되어 안심된다.”라며 “많은 사람이 교육을 통해 위급상황에 대처할 수 있는 능력을 기를 수 있었으면 한다”라고 전했다.

배영환 가평소방서장은 “심정지환자를 목격하는 순간이 심정지환자를 살릴 수 있는 마지막 순간이다”며 “도민 누구나 심폐소생술을 배워 우리 이웃의 생명을 구해주길 바란다”라고 말했다. 

한편, 가평소방서는 상설심폐소생술 교육장 운영한다. 운영기간은 2023년 2월까지 매주 목요일 14시부터 16시까지이며, 교육내용은 심폐소생술 및 자동심장충격기 사용법 등이다.
