[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평소방서는 27일 관내 수난사고 위험지역 산장관광지 등 9개소에 대해 여름철 수난사고 방지를 위해 현지답사를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

가평소방서는 7~8월 관내 많은 관광객이 몰리는 산장관광지, 배터유원지, 호수유원지, 화랑유원지, 밤나무골유원지, 안전유원지에 수난사고 발생 시 신속한 대응을 위해 119시민수상구조대를 배치할 예정이다.

119시민수상구조대의 업무는 다수 물놀이 이용객 운집장소 및 위험지역은 고정근무를 배치하고 그 외의 지역은 안전순찰을 나선다. 또한 응급환자 응급처치, 편의제공, 안전사고 예방을 위해 7~8월 2달간 운영된다.

또한 용소폭포 등 수난사고 위험지역 기동순찰을 통해 여름철 수난사고 예방을 위해 노력하고 있다.

최진만 가평소방서장은 “시민수상구조대 대원분들 덕분에 국민들이 더 안전한 여름휴가를 보낼 수 있을 것이다. 가평소방서 또한 대원분들과 함께 가평을 수난사고 안전지역으로 만들 수 있도록 노력하겠다”라고 말했다.
