[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 가평소방서는 지난달 가평 관내 중증 청각장애인 65명을 대상으로 청각장애인용 단독경보형 화재감지기를 설치했다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 시각 경보 기능이 있는 감지기를 설치함으로 청각장애인이 화재감지기에서 나는 소리를 듣지 못해 발생하는 사고를 막기 위해 실시했다.

설치, 화재대피 및 안전교육은 가평남여의용소방대, 조종여성의용소방대, 청평남성의용소방대 대원 9명이 방문 설치했다.

가평소방서장은 “가구 사정에 맞는 감지기 설치에 도움을 주며 인명피해가 생기는 불상사를 막을 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”라고 말했다.
