[김준호 기자 = 동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)가 지속되는 물가인상과 인구감소, 고령화 등에 따른 사회복지분야 예산 확대, 지역화폐 발행 국비지원 중단 등의 영향으로 5,196억원 규모의 내년도 당초예산안을 편성하고 시의회에 제출했다고 밝혔다.

동해시의 내년도 당초예산안은 올해보다 2.17%가 증가한 110억원 규모로 일반회계 4,719억원, 특별회계 421억원, 기금 56억원으로 편성됐다.

세입예산은, 금리인상과 불확실한 경제전망, 부동산 경기침체 등으로 시 세입 예산 가운데 가장 큰 비중을 차지하고 있는 보통교부세와 부동산교부세는 약 6.8% 증가했다.

세출예산(일반회계)을 분야별로 살펴보면 ▶일반 공공행정 사업비 228억원 ▶공공질서 및 안전, 교육분야 지원경비 76억원이 반영됐으며 ▶문화예술 분야 80억원 ▶관광분야 179억원 ▶체육분야 63억원 ▶상하수도 수질 개선 130억원 ▶환경분야 153억원 ▶사회복지 사업비 1,820억원 ▶보건의료 및 식품의약 안전 80억원 ▶농·산·어촌의 균형발전을 위한 농·어민 소득 분야 335억원 ▶청·장년, 지역공동체, 사회적기업 및 일자리와 동해사랑상품권 운영 등 경제 활성화를 위해 200억원이 반영됐다.
