[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평소방서는 4~5월 두 달간 등산객이 집중되는 주말 및 공휴일에 관내 6개의 등산로 입구에서 산악안전지킴이를 운영한다고 19일 밝혔다.

가평소방서 산악안전지킴이는 보납산, 유명산, 명지산, 호명산, 운악산, 축령산에 2인 1조로 배치되어 봄철 산불예방, 신속한 구조·구급 활동으로 등산객들의 안전한 산행을 위해 운영된다.

주요 활동으로는 등산객 대상 심폐소생술 교육 실시, 간이응급의료소 운영, 등산객 안전산행 지도, 산불예방 홍보 및 유동순찰 등산로 안전시설 점검 1일 1회 실시 등이다.

배영환 가평소방서장은 “날이 따뜻해지면서 관내 등산을 하러 방문하는 등산객이 많아지고 있다. 등산을 하기 전에 충분한 준비운동 및 등산 안전수칙을 숙지하여 안전한 산행을 하길 바란다.”라고 말했다.
