간담회는 겨울철 소방안전대책의 일환으로, 공동주택 화재 발생 시 계단실을 통해 연기가 상층부로 급격히 확산되어 상층부 거주자가 대피하는 동안 시야 확보가 곤란하여 발생 할 수 있는 인명피해를 방지하고자 개최된다고 전했다.

이번 간담회는 박 서장이 주관하여 공동주택 16개소의 CEO 및 주민자치위원 32명을 대상으로 진행하고, 주요내용으로는 공동주택 화재 인명피해 저감을 위해 ‘옥상출입문’ 안내 표지판 및 피난유도표시 등 설치 협조, 소방시설·피난시설 유지관리와 겨울철 시설물 화재예방당부, 겨울철 소방안전대책 관련 3대 전자제품 ‘전기장판, 히터, 열선’ 안전사용 입주민 안내등의 내용을 전했다고 했다.

박 서장은 “적극적인 예방활동을 통해 겨울철 화재예방에 최선을 다하겠다.”며 “공동주택 관리소 및 입주민 여러분들도 화재예방에 동참해 주기를 바란다.”고 전했다.
