[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평소방서는 29일 가평소방서 대회의실에서 119시민수상구조대 발대식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

가평소방서는 7~8월 관내 많은 관광객이 몰리는 산장관광지, 배터유원지, 호수유원지, 화랑유원지, 밤나무골유원지, 안전유원지에 수난사고 발생 시 신속한 대응을 위해 119시민수상구조대를 배치할 예정이다.

또한 용소폭포 등 수난사고 위험지역 기동순찰을 통해 여름철 수난사고 예방을 위해 노력하고 있다.

시민수상구조대의 주요 업무로는, 수상·수중 인명구조, 익수사고 방지활동 및 수변 예찰활동, 응급환자 응급처치 및 미아 찾기, 이용객 편의제공, 피서객 대상 물놀이 안전사고 예방, 심폐소생술 교육 등이다.

최진만 가평소방서장은 “지속적인 교육·훈련을 실시해 119시민수상구조대 대원들의 역량을 높여 가평군을 찾는 국민들의 여름철 수난사고 안전을 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 말했다.
