[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평소방서가 4일 GS칼텍스 인재개발원에 방문하여 봄철 다중이용시설 화재안전관리 현장행정지도를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

GS칼텍스 인재개발원은 주변 산과 인접해있어 화재 발생 시 산불로 확대될 위험이 있고 교육이 있는 경우 많은 교육생이 입소하여 대규모 인명피해로 이어질 수 있기때문에 화재 위험 요인을 사전에 제거하기 위해 방문했다.

주요 지도 내용으로는 화재 발생 시 초기 대응체계 컨설팅 및 지도, 설치된 소방시설 유지·관리 상태 점검, 관계인 주도 자율안전점검 홍보, 소방차 출동로 확보 및 현장 대응여건 확인, 소방시설 및 대피시설 사용법 등 화재 예방 교육 등이다. 

배영환 가평소방서장은 “GS칼텍스 인재개발원은 교육생, 배구단 선수들 등 많은 인원이 사용하는 시설로 화재발생 시 대형 인명피해로 이어질 수 있다. 그렇기 때문에 평상시 관계인 여러분들의 소방시설 유지·관리 철저 및 대피시설 사용법을 잘 숙지하여주시기 바란다”라고 말했다.
