[남상훈 기자 = 양양군] 8일 양양군은 입업인의 날을 맞이해  ‘2022년 제2회 양양군 임업인 화합 한마당 행사’를 양양 송이조각공원에서 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 코로나19 발생 이후 3년 만이며 양양군이 주최하고, 양양군 산림사업협회가 주관하며 양양군, 양양국유림관리소, 양양속초산림조합의 후원속에서 치러졌다.

개회식은 임업관련 단체와 임업후계자, 산림조합, 관계 공무원 등 300여 명이 모인 자리에서 양양임업 이태우 대표의 개회선언을 시작으로, 양양군 산림사업협회 박흥식 회장의 환영사와 김진하 양양군수와 오세만 군의회 의장 등의 축사로 진행됐다. 

이후 2부 행사는 양양군, 양양국유림관리소, 양양속초산림조합을 필두로 임업인들이 총 3개의 팀을 이루어 팀별게임, O/X퀴즈, 경품추첨 등 다채로운 행사를 통해 친목과 화합을 다졌다.

행사 관계자는 “이번 양양군 임업인 화합 한마당 행사를 통해 관내 임업인들의 그간의 노고가 위로되고, 임업인들이 서로 소통하고 화합할 수 있는 계기가 되었길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 양양군 임업발전을 위하여 많은 분들이 관심을 갖고 성원해주시기 바란다”고 말했다.
