[안종욱 기자 = 가평] 가평군은 민선8기 비전 및 5대 군정 방침 실현을 위한 부서별 신규정책사업 공모를 실시해 ‘호명산 카페거리 육성사업’을 최우수 정책으로 최종 선발했다고 7일 밝혔다.

가평군은 민선8기 군정 비전 '자연을 경제로 꽃피우는 도시, 가평' 실현을 위하여 군청 전 부서를 대상으로 신규 정책사업 발굴을 모집했다. 

이에 따라 총 44건의 신규 정책이 접수됐으며, 지난 10월 11일 가평군청 통합회의실에서 부서 발표 및 제안심사위원회의 대면심사를 거쳐 

6가지 정책이 우수 정책으로 결정됐고, 기획감사담당관에서 제안한 ‘The stay, 가평에 머무르다(호명산 카페거리 육성사업)’이 최우수 정책으로 선정됐다. 

또한, 우수 정책사업으로는 안전재난과의 ‘물놀이 안전 CCTV 설치사업’ 및 축산정책과의 ‘악취저감 액상미생물 살포차량 운영사업’이 선정됐으며, 장려 사업으로는 산림과의 ‘임도를 활용한 관광자원화(트레킹코스) 추진 사업’, 자원순환과의 ‘폐기물 처리시설 주변지역과의 상생협력체계 구축 사업’, 그리고 하수도사업소의 ‘가평공공하수처리장 방류수 재이용사업’이 선정됐다.

가평군 관계자는 "우수 정책으로 선정된 위 6가지 정책은 관련 부서와 향후 추진계획을 논의한 후 2023년 신규 정책으로 진행할 예정이며, ‘가평공공하수처리장 방류수 재이용사업’ 과 같은 중장기 달성 정책은 공모 등을 통해 예산 확보 추진 후 추후 정책을 수립할 예정이다"라고 전했다.

서태원 가평군수는 “이번 신규 정책사업 공모를 통해 접수받은 44건의 사업 중 괜찮은 사업이 많아 (선정 사업 외에도) 많은 사업에 대해 부서별로 좀 더 깊은 연구가 들어갔으면 한다”면서 “정책사업 공모를 주기적으로 진행하여 군민을 위한 다양한 정책사업이 앞으로도 지속적으로 발굴됐으면 한다”고 말했다.
