[안종욱 기자 = 가평] 가평군은 15일부터 내년 3월 15일까지를 동절기 제설대책 기간으로 선정했다고 밝혔다.

이번 신속한 제설 추진 기반 조성을 위해 친환경 소금, 염화칼슘 등 제설제 5,198톤, 지방도 등 제설차량 42대, 마을안길 등 제설용 삽날부착 트랙터 96대로 총365㎞ 제설작업을 추진할 계획이다.

또한, 재난상황 협업기관인 가평소방서와 협조 체계를 구축해 제설차량 진입이 어려운 제설취약 지역에 대해 긴급구조 활동용으로 제설제 300포대(25kg)를 지원해 군민의 생명 및 재산보호에 앞장서고 있다. 

이면도로 및 다수 상가가 밀집된 도로 및 인도변에 대한 군민들의 ‘내 집(상가) 앞 눈 치우기’ 자발적 참여를 유도하고자, 제설 장비 및 자재를 읍면행정복지센터와 협조하여 적극적으로 지원하고 있다.

가평군 관계자는 “협업부서 및 유관기관들과의 긴밀한 협조체계 구축으로 폭설 상황에 신속한 제설작업으로 인명피해를 최소화하기 위해 최선을 다 하겠다”고 말했다.
