[남상훈 기자 = 횡성] 횡성군은 강원 여행의 달과 제16회 횡성군민의 날을 기념해 횡성의 대표 관광지인 루지체험장과 안흥찐빵모락모락마을을 방문하는 관광객이 신나고 유익한 하루를 보낼 수 있도록 특별 할인행사를 진행한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 할인행사는 1일부터 오는 30일까지 한 달간 진행되며 횡성루지체험장은 정상 요금에 30%, 안흥찐빵모락모락마을은 정상 요금에 20% 할인된 가격으로 누구나 이용할 수 있다. 

횡성루지체험장은 6월 26일부터 6월 28일 3일간 시설 정비를 위해,  안흥찐빵모락모락마을은 매주 월요일과 현충일은 휴장한다. 

횡성의 대표 체험형 관광시설인 횡성루지는 2.4km의 단일코스로 세계 최장 길이를 자랑하며 특별한 동력장치 없이 특수 제작된 카트를 타고 경사와 중력만을 이용해 트랙을 달리는 사계절 썰매이다. 

안흥찐빵모락모락마을은 안흥찐빵의 관광 자원화를 통해 가치를 올리고 지역경제 활성화를 도모하기 위해 지난 2022년 2월 조성된 국내 유일무이 찐빵 전시 체험 공간이다. 안흥찐빵 만들기와 함께 다양한 디저트 및 소품 만들기 체험을 할 수 있으며, VR체험과 빵양·팥군, 전시 관람 등 즐길 거리가 가득한 명소로 알려져 있다.

군 관계자는 “보다 부담 없이 관광시설을 이용할 수 있도록 적극적인 홍보를 통해 앞으로도 관광객과 지역 모두에게 도움을 주는 시설 운영에 지속 노력하겠다.” 라고 말했다.
