[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 7월 20일 의정부시와 의정부시공무원노동조합은 시청사 내 청소노동자에게 중복 맞이 삼계탕과 선물을 전달했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 행사는 노사 공동으로 매년 복날을 맞아 시청사 내 청소노동자에게 삼계탕을 대접하는 행사이나, 올해는 코로나19 4차 유행과 맞물려 간소하게 삼계탕 식사 쿠폰과 작은 선물로 대신하게 되었다고 했다.

황범순 의정부시 부시장은 “코로나19로 그 어느 때보다 중요한 시청사 내 위생을 담당하시는 청소노동자의 노고에 감사를 드리며, 근무 중 개선이 필요한 점은 언제든지 의견을 주셨으면 좋겠다.”라고 말했다.

김형태 공무원노조 위원장은 “무더운 날씨에 청사 관리를 위하여 흘린 청소노동자의 소중한 땀방울에 조합원, 모두 감사함을 느끼고 있다. 도울 수 있는 부분은 적극적으로 돕도록 하겠다.”라고 말했다.

공무원노조는 일천 일백명의 조합원이 가입된 단체로 창립 4주년을 맞아 지역사회 공헌 및 지역경제 활성화를 위한 사업을 추진하고 있다고 전했다.
