[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 22일 춘천시 후평2동 지역사회보장협의체는 후평2동 내 독거어르신 총 4가구에 미끄럼방지 매트를 설치했다고 밝혔다.

미끄럼방지 매트 설치는 춘천 25개 읍면동 지역사회보장협의체 중 처음으로 시도하는 사업으로 일명 ‘후이는 안전해효(孝)' 이며, 질병관리청 국가정보포털에 따르면 노인은 젊은 연령과 비교하였을 때, 낙상으로 인한 사망은 10배, 낙상으로 인한 입원률 8배 높고 가정에서 발생이 61.5%로 가장 많으며, 다음은 도로(20.2%), 상업시설(18.5%) 등 순으로 가정에서의 사고위험이 가장 큰데, 이에 후평2동 지역사회보장협의체는 매달 2가구씩 미끄럼방지 매트를 설치하기로 했다고 전했다.

박정임 위원장은 “후평2동 독거어르신들의 보다 안전한 생활을 위해 더욱 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
