[안종욱 기자 = 가평] 가평군은 경기도 주관 ‘2022년(2021년실적) 체납실태조사 시·군 평가’에서 '우수기관'으로 선정되어 기관 표창과 함께 2천만원의 시상금을 수상한다고 밝혔다. 

특히, 이번 수상으로 올해 지방세 체납정리 부문, 세외수입 체납정리 부문, 법인세무조사 부문에 이어 체납실태조사 운영 부문의 우수기관 선정 4관왕을 달성하는 또 한번 수상의 영광을 안았다.

이번 평가는 경기도가 도내 31개 시·군을 대상으로 지난 한 해 동안 체납관리단 체납실태조사 업무전반에 대해 체납관리단 채용비율, 체납관리단 1인당 현장방문율, 체납관리단 징수비율, 복지연계비율 등 2개분야 4개 지표에 대해 평가가 이뤄졌다.

가평군은 공개모집을 통해 27명으로 구성된 '체납관리단'을 운영하여 체납자 9,258명을 방문해 체납액 16억원을 징수하는 성과를 거뒀으며, 생계형 체납자 46명에게는 복지지원을 연계해 지원방법을 모색하는 등 적극적인 노력을 통해 높은 평가를 받았다.

권병천 세정과장은 “경기침체로 어려운 징수여건 속에서도 체납관리단 직원, 실태조사원들의 노력으로 일궈낸 값진 성과이다”며 “앞으로도 고액·고질 체납자는 가택수색 등 강력한 징수활동을 추진하는 한편 생계형체납자에 대해서는 분납 유도 및 복지연계를 통해 군민에게 공감 받는 따뜻한 조세행정을 펼치겠다”고 말했다.
