[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 18일 가평군은 가평축산업협동조합에서 관내 불우이웃에게 전달해 달라며 300만 원 상당의 사골곰탕 120박스를 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

가평축산업협동조합은 2019년도부터 매년 가평군의 저소득층을 위해 이웃돕기 성품을 기탁하는 등 취약계층을 위한 나눔을 통해 이웃사랑 실천을 이어오고 있어 지역사회에 모범이 되고 있다고 했다.

가평축산업협동조합 조규용 조합장은 “코로나19 장기화로 힘든 상황에 직면한 가평군의 저소득층에게 조금이나마 힘이 됐으면 좋겠다”며 “지역사회의 발전과 가평군의 나눔 문화 확산을 위해 지속적으로 동참하겠다”는 뜻을 밝혔다.
