[안종욱 기자 = 가평군] 가평군 보건소는 지난 25일 제13회 ‘비만예방의 날’을 맞아 건강증진 캠페인을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 캠페인은 비만예방의 필요성을 주민들에게 널리 알리고자 실시됐으며, 비만예방 뿐만 아니라 건강생활실천(금연·영양·구강·심뇌혈관질환예방·암검진·치매예방) 홍보 및 혈압 혈당 측정 등 다양한 건강서비스를 제공했다.

‘가볍게, 걷고 마시고 줄이자’라는 슬로건의 일환으로 실시된 걷기 챌린지는 보건소에서 출발 인증 도장을 찍은 후 음악역까지 걷기를 완료하는 것으로, 캠페인 진행 약 5시간 동안 주민 200여명이 참여했다.

보건소 관계자는 “비만예방의 날 슬로건과 같이 일상 속 작은 건강생활실천을 당부드리고, 앞으로도 주민들이 만족할 수 있는 건강한 가평군을 만들기 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
