[채창묵 기자 = 고성군] 고성군은 도움만 받는 존재가 아닌 지역내에서 함께 상생하며 발전할수 있는 사업에 촛점을 둔 자활근로사업 발전방안 간담회를 고성군청 회의실에서 12월5일 개최했다.

이날 참가자들은 사업관련공무원,고성지역 자활센터 관계자와 외부의견을 듣기위해 타 관련단체들(허브컴퍼니,청년창업연구소,두랑커피사업단등)과 논의했다. 이번 간담회 중요 핵심주제는 지역현안 해결및 주민정주요건과 관련된 E.M보급사업단등 5개 사업에 대해 중점적으로 제시했다.

기존 E.M보급사업에서는 지역주민들에게 무료보급만 하는 형태였지만E.M발효액이 악취제거 효과가 있는 만큼 지역 현안 중 하나인 돈사·축사 악취 문제 해결을 위해 관내 돈사 한 곳을 선정하여 E.M을 활용한 악취제거를 시범적으로 운영하는 의견도 제시되었다.  

또한 지역내 수산물가공업체와 횟집에서 나오는 부산물을 이용하는 어액비 제조사업은 생선폐기물을 이용해 친환경 아미노산 비료를 만들수 있는 방안과 폐기물(음식쓰레기) 문제를 해결할수 있는 근본적인 문제를 해결할수 있는 방안을 모색했다.

두랑커피사업단에서는 지역내 커피전문점이 늘어남에 따라 브랜드화 하여 자활이 가지고 있는 가치와 이야기를 활성화 하자고 했다.

마지막으로 함명준 고성군수는 “이번 간담회를 통해 자활센터에 참여하고 있는 지역 내 저소득층과 자활근로사업 발전을 함께하여 자활이 가지고 있는 의미를 지키며, 소외계층이 도움을 받는 존재가 아닌 지역발전을 위해 함께하는 기회를 만들며,  사회 소외계층과 함께하는 여러 가지 사업을 운영하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
