[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3월 25일, 연예인 자선봉사단 ‘더 브릿지’는 ‘사랑의 밥차’와 함께 동두천시를 찾아 관내 취약계층을 위해 봉사활동을 진행했다고 밝혔다. 

이날은 오전부터 ‘사랑의 밥차’에서 직접 재료를 손질하여 따뜻한 소고기국밥 및 어묵볶음 200인분을 조리하였으며, 각 동 행정복지센터 직원들과 함께 비대면으로 어르신들에게 전달하였다고 했다. 

연예인 봉사단 ‘더 브릿지’는 지난 2017년 1월 창단한 이후 다문화 이주 여성, 미혼모 등 주로 여성들을 대상으로 한 봉사를 진행해 왔고, 최근에는 그 폭을 넓혀 도움이 필요한 다양한 계층을 위해 밥차 및 토크콘서트 등의 봉사를 진행하고 있으며, 작년 12월에도 동두천시를 방문하여 전복죽을 조리하여 전달한 바 있다고 전했다.

‘더 브릿지’김예분 단장은 “외롭게 사시는 어르신들에게 더 브릿지의 조그마한 나눔이 따뜻하게 전달됐으면 좋겠다”고 전했다.

시 관계자는 “바쁜 일정에도 어려운 어르신들에게 따뜻한 나눔을 꾸준히 실천해주셔서 감사하다”고 밝혔다.
