[남상훈 기자 = 포천시] 지난 6일 백영현 포천시장은 포천시무한돌봄희망복지센터와 이주배경 아동·청소년의 알권리 증진과 정보접근성 향상을 위한 아동의견서 전달식을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이날 초록우산 어린이재단 공모사업으로 진행된 아동권리옹호활동 ‘쉬운 언어 번역가’ 사업 참여 아동들은 자신들이 제작한 아동의견서와 쉬운 말로 순화한 복지서비스 책자를 백영현 포천시장에 전달했다.

아동의견서에는 이주 배경 아동·청소년을 비롯한 한국어가 익숙하지 않은 사람들도 쉽게 읽고 이해할 수 있도록 복지서비스 홍보자료를 제작할 때 쉬운 단어 사용을 제안하는 내용을 담았다.

백영현 포천시장은 “우리 시 홍보자료를 만들 때 한국어가 익숙하지 않은 이주배경 가족들을 고려하겠다. 이주 배경 아동·청소년의 알권리와 정보접근성 향상을 위해 함께 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
