[김준호 기자 = 삼척시] 삼척블루파워(사장 옥인환)는 삼척시 관내 에너지 빈곤층 16가정에 연탄 4,800장(400만 원 상당)을 삼척시사회복지협의회를 통해 후원했다.
이번 연탄나눔은 겨울 한파를 앞두고 경제적 어려움을 겪는 가정의 어르신들이 난방비 부담을 덜고 추운 겨울을 따뜻하게 보낼 수 있도록 삼척시사회복지협의회와 함께 삼척블루파워 임직원들이 직접 연탄배달 봉사를 진행하여 더욱 의미가 있었다.

한편, 연탄지원사업은 삼척블루파워 매칭그랜트(Matching grant) 사업으로 임직원의 기부와 회사가 똑같은 후원금을 1:1로 매칭해 조성하는 사회공헌 프로그램이다.
삼척블루파워 관계자는 “삼고(고물가,고유가,고환율)현상으로 힘든 시기에 어르신들을 위한 봉사활동과 연탄지원으로 난방비 절감과 더불어 큰 위로가 된 거 같아 감사하다.”고 전했다.
삼척시사회복지협의회 관계자는 “앞으로 지역의 기업과 연계하여 지역사회에 도움이 되는 사회공헌사업을 발굴하여 추진하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
