[김현우 기자 = 포천] 포천시는 관내 청소년을 대상으로 제주도의 다양한 환경 및 생활방식을 탐색하고 나라사랑의 정신을 고양하는 ‘제주 생태문화탐사단’ 참가자를 모집한다고 7일 밝혔다.

‘제주 생태문화탐사단’은 제주도의 4.3 평화공원, 만장굴, 천제연폭포 등 역사․문화유적지 답사와 중문 주상절리 및 수월봉 지질트레일을 통해 지질을 탐사하는 등 다양한 일정으로 구성되어 청소년들이 제주도의 생태와 역사․문화가치의 소중함을 직접 느끼게 할 계획이다.

참가 대상은 포천시에 거주하는 14세부터 19세 청소년들로 남녀 각 8명씩 총 16명으로 참가비는 1인 26만 원 상당이다.

모집 기간은 7일부터 오는 14일까지이며, 신청방법은 포천청소년문화의집 홈페이지 공지사항을 참고하여 참가신청서를 작성해 전자우편 또는 포천청소년문화의집을 방문 접수하면 된다. 

교육지원과 관계자는 “이번 사업을 통해 관내 청소년들이 쉽게 접하기 힘들었던 제주도 생태문화탐방을 통해 과거와 현재의 관계성, 지식 등을 함양하게 된다면 자연을 통해 깨달음을 얻고 미래를 바라볼 수 있는 지혜를 얻게 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 포천시 청소년들이 다양한 체험활동을 통해 건강하게 성장할 수 있도록 적극적으로 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
