[김준호 기자=동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)는 저소득 여성청소년의 건강한 성장을 위해 보건위생물품(생리대) 구입비용을 지원한다고 밝혔다. 

올해 1인당 지원금액은 월 13,000원(연간 156,000원)이며, 대상자는국민기초생활수급자, 차상위계층 및 한부모가족 중 만 9세에서 만 24세 이다.

특히, 한 번 신청하면 지원자격에 변동이 없을 경우 만 24세까지 유지되며, 기존에 바우처 신청을 한 대상자는 별도 신청하지 않아도 자동 유지된다.

신청 자격은 청소년 본인 또는 청소년을 주 양육하는 자(부모님 등)가 할 수 있으며, 청소년 주민등록상 주소지 동행정복지센터를 방문하거나 복지로 홈페이지 또는 어플을 이용해 신청하면 된다.

이선우 체육교육과장은 “신청한 달부터 지원이 되므로 해당 대상자가 1월부터 신청하여 최대한 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 홍보 등에도 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
